Overview

These terms and conditions apply to the BrewScout app for mobile devices, created by Topener and referred to in these terms as the Application or the Service Provider.

Use of the Application

By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these terms. Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, extraction of source code, translation, or creation of derivative versions is not permitted.

All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

Service Availability and Changes

The Service Provider aims to keep the Application useful and efficient and may modify the Application or its services at any time and for any reason.

Some features require an active internet connection, whether through Wi-Fi or your mobile network provider. The Service Provider is not responsible if the Application does not function fully because internet access is unavailable or your data allowance has been exhausted.

If you use the Application outside a Wi-Fi area, your mobile provider's terms still apply. You are responsible for any charges incurred, including roaming or other third-party charges.

The Service Provider may also stop providing the Application at any time. If that happens, the rights and licenses granted to you under these terms will end and you must stop using the Application.

Your Responsibilities

The Application stores and processes personal data that you provide in order to deliver the service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and access to the Application.

The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your device, as doing so may expose your device to malware, compromise security features, and prevent the Application from functioning correctly.

The Application uses third-party services that may have their own Terms and Conditions.

User Content

By submitting ratings, photos, comments, or other content through the Application, you confirm that you have the right to submit that content and to grant the rights described in these Terms.

You retain ownership of your content, but you grant BrewScout a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the service.

This includes the right for BrewScout to use submitted ratings, photos, and comments in marketing materials and to share them on BrewScout-owned websites, social media channels, and similar promotional surfaces.

User Conduct and Moderation

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading, abusive, defamatory, hateful, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate, and you agree not to use the Application in a way that interferes with the service or the rights of others.

The Service Provider may review, remove, restrict, or refuse content, and may suspend or terminate access to the Application, if the Service Provider reasonably believes that content or conduct violates these Terms, applicable law, or the safety and integrity of the service.

Limitation of Responsibility

The Service Provider strives to keep the Application updated and accurate, but relies on third parties to supply some information. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, resulting from reliance on the Application.

The Service Provider is also not responsible if you are unable to use the service because your device is out of battery or otherwise unavailable.

Changes to These Terms

The Service Provider may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Users are advised to review this page regularly for any changes.
